Who are Tea Party people?
We are Americans who love our country. We come from all walks of life. We are men and women, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters. We are neighbors, friends and family.
We are as diverse as America herself, but we all have one thing in common. We are all very concerned that our children and grandchildren will not inherit as wonderful an America as the one we live in. The United States of America was once know as “the land of opportunity.” Not any more. The “America Dream” of being successful and home ownership has been turned into a nightmare. Jobs have left our great country. The moral decay of society has been talked about for quite some time and the traditional family and religion is under attack. Our children are receiving a poor education that leaves them unprepared to be successful as adults in todays world. Our government, who’s purpose is to protect our rights, is corrupt and broken. Instead of protecting our rights the government is destroying them, interfering in our live more and more every day.
Why do politicians in Washington get rich while we get poorer?
How can corporate management make millions of dollars while defrauding their investors?
Why do we have more people incarcerated per capita then any other nation on earth?
Why is everything so expensive?
Why is money taken away from people who work hard and given to people who won't work?
Why does the government borrow money and give it to foreign countries?
Why aren’t our children receiving the best education in the world?
If you are concerned about any of these things, please join us. There is power in numbers. We have a lot of work to do. We must return this nation to the values that made it the greatest nation on earth. We must have high moral standards that support families, freedom and opportunity. The criminals in government and in corporate America must pay for their crimes.
We have been asleep at the wheel and allowed our country to run amuck. It is time to wake up and get our country back to being “the land of opportunity.” Not for criminals, but for good, hard working Americans.
Please, for your children and grandchildren, join us. Get educated about the issues we are facing as a nation and get involved in returning this nation to “the land of opportunity.”
